Common questions
The questions we get asked most.
-
Most setups are done within 48 hours of confirmation. Tight timeframe? Tell us the date and we'll be straight with you about whether we can hit it.
-
Delivery and pickup are always laid out on your quote, so you see the figure before you commit. What it costs comes down to the size of the setup and how far you are from our Warabrook base. Nothing gets added on afterwards.
-
Usually less than people expect, and often less than buying everything and selling it at a loss a few months later. You pay by the week for the months you actually need it, and there's nothing left to offload at the end.
-
Yes. From a single bedroom up to a full three or four-bedroom home, white goods included. The Whole Home and Corporate packages are built for exactly that.
-
We do. We build every defence package to PACMAN, so what we quote sits inside what your allowance covers. Beds, fridges, dining and laundry are in. TVs, computers and gaming consoles aren't.

Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Williamtown (Port Stephens), the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast, out to about 150 kilometres from Warabrook. Not sure you're in range? Send the address.
-
Payment's always in advance, and we set the rhythm to suit you. The standard is a monthly account; ADF personnel often prefer weekly. Businesses are usually invoiced (easy for a Pty Ltd), and personal hires run on direct debit or a card subscription. We sort the details on your quote.
-
We invoice the first month up front, so a month is the practical starting point. After that you hire by the week for as long as the posting or project runs.
-
We can work with it. If you've taken a longer term and your plans change — say a twelve-month hire that wraps at six — talk to us. Any cost for ending early is set out in your contract before you sign, so there are no surprises. The earlier you tell us, the easier it is.
-
Business, ADF, government and insurance accounts are set up on terms, with the first payment invoiced before delivery. For personal hire we ask for the first payment plus a refundable bond, usually equal to one payment period — a week or a month, depending on how you're billed. The exact figure depends on the hire, and it's always set out on your quote.
-
Tell us as soon as you know. With reasonable notice we'll move the delivery date for free. Once it's in the home, you can extend or shorten the term with a phone call, and we'll adjust the billing accordingly.
-
Adding items is easy. Send us a note, we'll quote the extra and book a run, usually within 48 hours. Swaps we'd rather avoid once everything's in place, but if something isn't working for you, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
-
Send what you've got. If we need more we'll come back with a quick question or two, not a form to refill. The point is to make this easy.
-
It's in your care while it's in the home. Fair wear and tear is expected; anything beyond that is the hirer's responsibility, same as any hire agreement. We check the condition together at delivery and again at collection, and it's all spelled out in your contract.
-
We book a collection for when your posting or project wraps and take everything away. Need longer? Extend the hire by the week, no penalty.
